School Life
Our School Culture
Welcome to “School Life” at GCA. As you peruse through, you will discover we are more than just academics. We enjoy partnering with our families to help our students develop the characteristics that will be most beneficial in life. We take Proverbs 22:6 seriously, “Train a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (ESV). We have a saying, “your degree will get you in the door, but it’s your character that keeps you there.” As a Christian school, we are about developing students to be well-rounded learners that impact the world for the kingdom of God. This involves loving our neighbors, respecting others, and developing the discipline to excel in every area of life by creating opportunities for our students to practice these essential life skills.
GCA students are encouraged to participate in activities to make new friends and discover their God-given gifts and talents through a wide range of extracurricular activities, sports, arts, clubs, retreats, and much more. We know that when students get involved they have a more well-rounded educational experience. Developing healthy relationships, learning to work as a team, developing leadership skills, time management skills, and other skills that will help make them successful in their next phase of life.
We look forward to partnering with you and working with your student to help them become all that God has predestined them to become.
