School of Music
Michele Avrick is the director of the GCA School of Music. She has been teaching piano at Grace Christian Academy and in the community for 26 years. She is a member of the Music Teachers Assoc. of Charles County, of which she is currently serving as President. Students who participate in the GCA School of Music have opportunities to perform in the school studio setting as well as at many community-based events. Mrs. Avrick specializes in meeting each student's needs based on parent/student goals for pursuing piano lessons. She loves each student and helps to find a healthy balance between finding a comfortable learning style for students and challenging them to do their very best.
The School of Music currently offers private piano lessons once a week. Lessons are offered during the school day and after school as scheduled between the music instructor, classroom teachers and parents. We invite you to enroll your first grader or above student in our lesson program. Music lessons are a learning experience for your child that can lead to a lifetime of personal enrichment and blessing to others. All supplies are included in the fee, which is billed once a month through the FACTS program. Lessons are held from late August through the end of the school year.
